The Foothills Mall, recently demolished, was built in 1982 and was located in Tucson, Arizona. It's two original anchors were Goldwater's and Levy's, along with a movie theater. Levy's became Sanger-Harris in 1985 and Goldwater's became Dillard's in 1989. Both stores had left the building to the nearby and larger Tucson Mall by 1994. Though the mall did make a large comeback, many new stores came in including a Walmart during the late 1990's. The mall was doing well until the mid 2010's due to the opening of Tucson Premium Outlets. The mall closed in 2023 and the main area of the mall was demolished the same year. Some other parts of the mall still run as stores.
