The Parmatown Mall, currently known as The Shoppes At Parma, is and was a shopping mall in Parma, Ohio. It first opened in 1956 as a shopping center and was enclosed in 1967 with the anchor stores of Higbee's and May Company. The Higbee's became Dillard's in 1992 but closed 8 year later. The Higbee's building was demolished and turned into a Walmart in 2004. The May Company became Kaufmann's in 1993 and became a Macy's in 2006. The Parmatown area of the mall closed in 2012 and was demolished in 2014. The rest of the mall was renovated and became The Shoppes At Parma in 2013.
