[turbowarp not recommended] This is on the scratch port of American Dad I know I’m 4 years late but hey, why not try it. This run is complicated so I’m gonna explain it. I did the famous floor clip glitch as well as the newspaper glitch. I performed a glitch I call leap detection. The game knows you shouldn’t be leaping right now, so when you do it at the right time, it skips the hug part and starting the car. I also mashed a button to lag it a bit to skip a second from the end. Also, I found using captions make the game run just a tiny bit faster for some reason.
List of glitches (and how, or what they do)(not all are used in the video) -Flag skip Captions cause the flag scene to not happen both at the start and end -Floor clip clip through the floor to skip the window and opening -Newspaper skip by setting your date to a nonexistent date, the game won’t put a headline on the newspaper, skipping it. -car skip Skip starting the engine via a frame perfect Y press -controller skip [gamecube only] Remove the controller during gameplay, this messes with the consoles reading software, causing the game to freak out -Joe skip You become joe. He is a lot faster -Salute skip Skip the salute by 2 frame perfect Y presses makes the game think that you took your weapon out and then put it away, skipping the salute animation -Family skip By doing a leap when you shouldn’t, you skip the hug scene -caption speed By putting captions on (Xbox 360 and GameCube and scratch) it makes the game a tiny bit faster
