IKH have mostly been peaceful, but after the 2023 election, Cyprosic people, especially supporters of Sabah have described them as "extremist", as actors who have been identified as IKH voters have reportedly burnt ballot boxes, attacked Sabah voters, and rioted outside of parliament. IKH dwindles in popularity among Muslims because of this, this discontent with IKH has caused members to form a seperate party, Minare. IKH leadership denounces the actions of these rioters, but IKH leader, Oguz Abdulrahman, supposedly incited this the day before at a rally.
