This show has changed me so much. I first got into the series when I watched the first season with my friend at a summer camp. I'd only just started getting into writing, and storytelling, and this pushed me right in. This show has the best writing I've ever heard, and the animation pulls it all together. I'm petty sure these writers are gods. I have cried, at least once every season. The only complaint I have with the show is that the pacing could use work, because they had to wrap up multiple arcs in 2 seasons. This show almost has no villain, and if it does, it changes constantly. Almost everyone in this show is a bad guy. And it layers stories, and they all intertwine. And there's always references to something in the future, and it keeps you on your toes. The [SPOLIERS AHEAD] Like who would have known Silco was Vi and Jinx's father? In hindsight, you can see how it works. This show also just breaks the characters. "Suffering Builds Character" is basically the motto. Lol, and I think everyone died in the end actually :| , which I didn't think they'd do. When everything seems happy, something in the last 10 minutes of the episode messes it up. But anyways, back to me. I'm honestly distraught no one will remember this show in 2 years. I'll miss hearing the banter of "what do you think happens next?" Or "I can't believe they did that!" This is a show that should go down in history. This is literally the best show I've ever watched. This isn't just an amazing adaptation, but an amazing show. But they do tease that it isn't the end of their story, and Fortiche said they'd make more shows like this, in this world. Whatever they have planned, I will be with them every step of the way <3 Also can we talk about how much of a freaking traitor Maddie is???!!! I'm so glad she died that jerk. Tried to steal Maddie from Vi, but jokes on her, she got back together with her, sucker! Everyone was like, "aw, my new favorite character teehee" but I never liked her, and I was right. :\ ... ..... *cough cough* I'm done ranting
Extra thing I didn't know where to put: this show inspired me to make WoTD more fleshed out, and inspired me to try and make a masterpiece. Is my story going to be as good as this? No way in the world. Will it try? Absolutely.
