Crusty rummaged through a twoleg's crowfood container when she heard mewling coming from inside the twoleg den. Cautiously, she poked her head through the doggydoor to see four perfect kits, nuzzled up in a fake mossbed. Crusty would watch them from a distance for days, shaking her head as the stumbled over their paws and missing their prey. This wouldn't do, the former leader thought as she watched the smallest kit bite his own tail. It was small things at first, a tiny nuzzle of affection here and a quick-grooming section there. The twolegs seemed to think Crusty was here to stay. Silly twolegs. A moon passed and Crusty was attached. She saw a little bit of her loved ones in each kit. Crusty let the kits crawl over her as she kneaded her bed. "I'll never leave you," she whispered to them. Um okay hi thanks for reading my corny little backstory for these kits.
