From the moment Kestrelfall was born, StarClan had promised him that he would one day become the leader of PuddleClan, a leader who would lead with wisdom and strength, despite the silence of his mutism (lack of ability to speak). He had waited patiently throughout his life, knowing he would be the first in history to guide his Clan without a voice, trusting that StarClan's word would be honored. But when the time came, after the death of the beloved Fawnstar, a devastating betrayal shook Kestrelfall's heart. Instead of fulfilling the promise, Fawnstar's successor named Shallowsong as the new deputy, a role that Kestrelfall had believed was his destiny. In that moment, it felt as though StarClan had abandoned him. Overcome with a storm of anger and resentment, Kestrelfall found himself lost in a whirlwind of bitter thoughts, his loyalty torn between his Clan and the injustice he felt. In his pain, he began to entertain dark thoughts of vengeance, yearning for retribution against those who had denied him his rightful place.
