Simon and Bella were up on the rooftops together, looking at the beautiful night sky. It was a very starry night with comets gliding every 5 minutes. Simon was enjoying Bella’s presence as he did every time. He already knows he has feelings but has never known the right to tell her. Bella, on the other hand, was blushing with every glance at Simon. It was a cute scene, two l0v3rs sitting together on the rooftops, unsure of what to say. That is until Simon started. “Bella” he says. “Yes?” She answers in her sweet high pitch voice. Simon took a deep breath. Bella looked at him full of concern. “Okay. I have been meaning to tell you something but I was too scared to. I think I’m ready now.” “Ok. What is wrong?” “Okay. I like you. A lot. Don’t freak out. I didn’t want to ruin our friendship with me say- “Simon was cut off when Bella pulled him closer to a small kIs$. Simon was startled but eventually melted. Bella pulled away first. “I like you too. A lot. It’s fine.” Bella said, with a small smile on her face. Simon looked at her, half shock and half relieved. Simon put her hand over hers and looked at the stars. Bella did the same and soon, they were looking at the stars, holding hands. Simon stood up and grabbed something in his pocket. He pulled out his phone and put on Spotify. The first song that started playing was “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. He held out a hand to Bella and Bella understood. Bella and Simon started dancing like an old couple on the rooftops, laughing and grinning like crazy. After the song ended, both Simon and Bella went inside to continue enjoying each other’s promise, ignoring everything else except for them.
