Hey y’alls! Sorry I haven’t been active, but life happens :/ anywho, I got a few announcements. First: Rebals is something I personally won’t be doing, @Umberbanana will be the one who will be taking it one. I know I said I would try to work on it more, but let’s be honest. It’s a mess. Like, a huge mess. I really can’t fix it, and don’t really want to put the effort into. So sorry, but yeah. Second: as you may have noticed, there’s art in this project! I wasn’t going to say anything until later, but one of the reasons I stopped working on Rebals, and one reason I’ve been so inactive, is because I’ve been working a lot on a new comic. After Rebals, I realized just how much work I’d have to put in to make a stable and good comic full of plot and stuff. So…I’ve been studying. And drawing. And practicing my art skills. I won’t say much, as this is still in the early process of being created. But Magically Unleashed will be a thing. Here’s what you may want to know: It’s a dystopian and almost sci-fi universe where life on Earth was practically torn apart, and a few million people managed to escape to an alien planet. Time skip to a butt ton of years later, humans have evolved into creatures with horns called Elerians. this world is not so great. But four unlikely young rebels will join together to overthrow the government! Yeah…maybe I just really want to write an Anarchy story…but it’s been fun! So…here’s some art! :) 1. First attempt at drawing them digitally and with color 2-5. Refs for the main 4 3. Gemini <3 4-5. Test panels (messing with backgrounds, shading, text boxes, etc.) 6-7. Just some goofy doodles Also, if you have any tips or tricks for writing or creating comics, that would be much appreciated :D
