Stephen Hillenburg is the creator of the famous TV show SpongeBob SquarePants, who died from ALS in 2018. While I didn’t become a SpongeBob fan until quite a while after he passed, I still believe that remembering him is worth it. Through his love for art and marine biology, Stephen created a show that brought smiles and laughs to a whole generation of children, and which continues to influence and inspire the next generation. While I wish I could have written him a fan letter or something while he was alive (remember, I wasn’t a SpongeBob fan then so I would never have thought of that), he left behind a legacy of fun and happiness that I’m glad to be seeing today. I hope to meet him in heaven someday if he’s there. It’s been almost exactly 6 years since Stephen passed, and even though it’s been a little over half of a decade, I still think we should continue to honor this wonderful man. To do so, I have made a studio for this called “Honoring Stephen Hillenburg” where anyone can add projects they make to honor Stephen Hillenburg. I have invited all sorts of people, but accepting the invite isn’t necessary if you don’t want to join. Also, anyone can join, just ask to join if you didn’t get invited. May God bless your day, and hopefully you’ll join the studio! The studio can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35951114 Sincerely, @GrapePickle22 aka Diana ❤️
