It was a peaceful afternoon. Blossom was almost done with all her tasks, and soon she could relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea. As she was doing her last task in the Admin room, she starts hearing a weird glittering noise. It sounded like glass moving around, but it was consistent and it seemed to come from… everywhere. She stopped what she was doing and listened intently, but just as suddenly as it had come, the noise had stopped. Unsettled, she started to wonder if her mind was playing tricks on her. She brushed off the uneasy feeling she was getting, thinking it was probably nothing, and she was just being paranoid. She finished the task she was doing and left the room to go to the Cafeteria. There, she helped herself to a cup of tea and some cookies, feeling a sense of tranquility and ease wash over her. She walked over to the big window overlooking the sky. All she could see was a dark, endless void of blank nothingness glittering with stars. Every morning and afternoon seemed like nighttime. She stayed there for a while, gazing out into space and sipping her tea, relishing the warmth of it as it slid down her throat. A weird, “otherworldly” noise could be heard a few rooms away, but this time, it was different from the noise Blossom had heard before. She was sleeping peacefully before it woke her up. What’s with all these unnatural noises today? She thought drowsily. She wondered if anyone else was awakened by the noise. She opened the door to her room only to see a faint glow that seemed to be coming from somewhere down the hall. She decided to go check it out. As she followed the glow, she could see that it was more fierce and vibrant in one of the rooms. She decided that was where the source of the glow was, so she headed there. As she rounded the corner, she could not believe her eyes. There was a… hole… floating in the room. It looked as if the air had been ripped apart, and its perimeter casted the glow that she had seen in the hallway. It wasn’t exactly circular, but it didn’t seem to have a fixed shape either. It was a portal. But the real question is… where does it lead?
