Instructions

So just a bit of an update, but I’m learning how to draw in anime style! I’ve already covered anatomy! Now i have to cover color theory and some more details so i can get to drawing! This is just a sketch of me testing what I’ve learned so far in these past few months. I’ve watch like 40 videos, and studied at least 100+ references to see how it works and this is what i got! Not the greatest but I’m still working to get better!

Description

The green circles are the elbow joints in the arm! I put those there to know when i bend and/or curve and add a lump to the skin. The box is the torso or main part of the body. The reason why it’s a chest is because of how wide thick, and proportions of the chest/torso. The boxy hands and lines, are for the outline of the hand. The box is for the shape of the hand, and the lines is for the shape, and length of the fingers. The orange circle is the head, and the shape of the head. When making the head i usually put a plus for it to show where the person is facing and to line up any face details i add to the sketch. For the box since my person is a male i made the box a bit more wider and less slim. I made his chest a bit flat and puff out more to show he’s somewhat bending his back in the pose. For the face i had made it face in the wrong direction on purpose because I couldn’t figure out how to get the beanie and hat on. So I will go back and make the eyes and mouth face to the right in a slanted up position. That’s really all though, besides the neck. If you couldn’t tell the neck is a thin line. I was going to but it as a tube but made it a line because I wanted to see how the neck would be bent or not.
