Instructions

This is Street Fighter V 20 Peoples, a NES bootleg made by a company named Cony Soft (also known as Yoko Soft in some other games) and it is truly terrible. First of all, the title screen becomes the character select screen after pressing start, which is a weird decision. Second, it advertises Goku as a playable character, but it's just Ryu. Third, this game doubles the roster of 10 characters (Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun Li, Zangief, E. Honda, Blanka, Dhalsim, Balrog (Boxer), and Vega (Claw) with different color palettes. The music isn't bad, but it isn't very good either, but at least you can tell what the themes are supposed to be. The graphics are like the music, not bad but not good either, but the characters are recognizable. The worst part is the gameplay, because it is SO unresponsive. You have to constantly spam the buttons just for the kicks and punches to be reliable. There's also the special moves, which are done by pressing a direction and pressing A and B all at the same time. This seems to be a good concept on paper, but the fact that the game is unresponsive makes it break apart. Also, the ai is aggressive and spams moves, but sometimes the ai is so stupid you have practically won (for example, fighting E. Honda, because all he does a spam his hundred hand slap). Also, the game can crash for unknown reasons. The only reliable way to play this game is by using turbo controllers, but even that sometimes doesn't work. Overall, this is a terrible game made to be a cash grab and nothing more.

Description

Cony Soft for this nightmare of a game. Me for playing THIS "game". Capcom for making the franchise. BTW, Cony STOLE graphics from the Street Fighter 3 bootleg for the ending and some of the character portraits.
