Explanation: Blaster, aka the guy that was caught by the spikes, is basically just possessed armor. His armor appears to be gold armor, which is known to be really weak. However, the speed which Chromatic's spike punctured the gold was unprecedented, not something you'd expect even from the highest karat golds. I do not know what karat Blaster's armor is, unless it isn't gold, and it's fool's gold, which is just a form of iron (pyrite).
