20 Questions for Writers! (To Make You Think Hard) WARNING: Several of these questions will make you think. If, for any reason, you are not able to think hard, please do not attempt to answer them. A:I'm a poet and so I think maybe the fact that I just really enjoy poetry. 2. Q: Did you always like writing? A: I think so. 3: Q: What is the story that has just been sitting around in your brain, waiting to come to life? Is it just a vague idea that catches your heart, or is it already an elaborate story? A: I just like poetry. 4. Q: What makes a story catch your heart? A: IM A POET 5. Q: Do you think that there's a pattern that all good stories follow, or are they all different? A:Well... i think they're all different 6. Q: Did you ever cry over your own writing? Laugh over it? Shiver over it? A:Laugh over it 7. Q: What do you despise in stories? A:No 8. Q: What makes a story bad (in your opinion)? A:NOTHING 9. Q: Which is more important in a story: emotional depth, or an interesting plot? A: Interesting pls 10. Q: Is there a specific thing your stories tend to center around? (Ex: setting, personality of character, genre, ect.) A:Nature themed poetry is a huge one 11. Q: Do you plan to become an author someday? A:YAAAAAARS 12. Q: If so, how do you think authors can influence the world for good by their writing? A: Sharing opinions 13. Q: What are your favorite themes (morals or messages) in stories? A: All of them 14. Q: What are the cliches you hate the most? A:IM A POET!!!!!!! 15. Q: Is there a way to make those cliches not so bad? Do you think you could do it if you set out to try? A:Still a poet. 16. Q: What is the genre you hate the most? A:Erm... maybe sci-fi but no... I like all of them 17. Q: What if you tried to write it? What would happen? A: Nothing. It would probably be terrible. 18. Q: What makes a character lovable? A: Depends on the story. 19. Q: Is it possible for a non-lovable character to make you care deeply about them? A: Um... I dunno 20. Q: How can you make your story touch your reader and impact their life?
