Many years ago, Will, the creator of The Ninja, posted the April fools project "The Ninja 6." It was purely a joke pretending to have all sorts of new weapons and mechanics. It was simply a prank, and nothing more. Until now. I've spent the past few months working on this little pet project of mine and have decided to share a beta version, a work-in-progress of the game so far. All the new weapons actually work and have some pretty cool mechanics that will be awesome to use once I make completely new levels. Just know, The Ninja 6 will be much, much more difficult than the other Ninja games. Maybe not as hard as the extreme versions, and not so hard in the beginning, but it gets pretty difficult, or at the least, pretty interesting. Check in later and you might see some new versions of this project showing my continuing progress. Share this with whoever you think will like it. DEVLOG: -New mechanic to the hammer -New hammer slash sound -Throwing knives make a comeback (kinda funky tho) -Kunai sounds changed -Sawblade sounds changed -Nunchucks replaced with Kusarigama -Special Level 1 removed -Minor backdrop changes -Special Level 2 removed -Boss visual changed -Cutscene text changed -Spear ninja replaced with Hatchet ninja -Sword ninja replaced with Odachi ninja -Enemy change on level 18 -More minor backdrop changes -Boss fight changes have been mostly finished! ^- You face Tyrant Ninja, a powerful warrior who will stop at nearly nothing to defeat you (except for complete, utter humiliation) ^- 2 completely new attacks added and previous attacks have been changed and upgraded! ^- The boss has a ton more health, so you'll really need to up your game to beat this guy! -Level 1 has been changed to fit the original The Ninja 6 starting level -New obstacle added: The Rotating Block. This spiky obstacle rotates around platforms at the corners, and it's a pretty good idea not to touch it. -Level 2 has been completely changed! -Level 3 has been completely changed! -Minor changes to other levels and lists <----||NEW CHANGES||----> -Tyrant Ninja has been completely fixed! His broken moves have been removed, although his other moves have been considerably buffed. I also added another new move where he summons 4 giant spike blocks -The first miniboss has been completed! Orange Ninja wields a large glaive and has some punishing attacks. He will occasionally throw his glaives at you, which you can launch right back at him. He may appear in more levels, since he is easier than the other minibosses in development. 1.3 BETA NOTE: Some levels cannot be beaten. This is normal and only occurs because I haven't properly made levels yet and am having trouble figuring out how in the world the entity summoning lists work. -New Levels 4 and 5 1.5 BETA NOTE: Finally figured out how item, enemy, fading wall, cracked platform, and bamboo placement lists work! Will be able to create new levels at some point in the near future. 1.6 BETA NOTE: 1.4 and 1.5 are not released as they each didn't have many changes, but .4, .5, and .6 rolled into one has some important changes in total so this version (1.6) was posted. 2.1 BETA NOTE: I learned that @Will_Wam added a really easy way to add enemies in levels, so now making original levels should be much easier. 2.6 BETA NOTE: There are now new levels 1 though 3! The 2nd level incorporates the new Rotating Block, and the 3rd level can be pretty tough. The Ninja 6 will be much more difficult than the other games! Also, Tyrant Ninja is currently broken ;-; He will be fixed tho, don't worry! 3.1 BETA NOTE: There is a background music glitch where if you skip a miniboss it doesn't refresh correctly and continues playing the miniboss theme.
