About it Your fun life is over. It ruined our lives. It had made people go (kinda) INSANE. Even google said “GoGuardian is downright disturbing and overpoweringly invasive even after school hours.” Yep. That was it. We trust Google. They said it. But with a little research we found lots of bad things about GoGuardian. Here are some reasons. ( The list goes on!!!) Important bullet points It is free so that means schools want to use it. It works out of school. They see through the cameras! Teachers can close tabs! They can hear your audio! They can see your PASSWORDS!!!!!! Here is a sentence from wikipedia: “American School Counselor Association ethics chair Carolyn Stone said that GoGuardian's ability to track web searches conducted at home is "intrusive" and is "conditioning children to accept constant monitoring" as normal.” Website The Top Tens says “They obviously do this to make students angrier and that decision is the opposite of helpful.” These are some reasons why it is bad. This petition was started in 2019. Let’s see if we can hit 25,000 signatures. The petition may become one of the most popular petitions! SAY THANK YOU, THIS WEBSITE IS ABOUT TO SAVE US!!!!!!!!!!! Now that you know about that and you have signed up you can check the website every day. AND don’t forget to check the comments on the page. Another thing to do is press on the line at the top and look at this amazing thing somebody made. Sadly it is blocked. GoGuardian is made to make it almost impossible to delete from a computer. Every school has a different bypass password. If you try then you will get a possible in school suspension. Here are the sites that I used to write this and take a look at them! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! They are trusted sites (as far as I can tell) and were very useful to me. Anyways… How Teachers Feel About It I have talked about my feelings… take a look at these responses. First let’s go with the teachers. They like it It is free so they get it It is made by the government THEY LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I have talked with many other students and have discussed with them how it uses spyware. What is spyware? Press this. I asked a couple of people how they felt about it. Here were the results. 85% of the people hate GoGuardian. 15% don’t care. The rest of them LIKE it?!? Thank you for reading this. And once again don’t forget to sign the petition!!! Oh yeah and by the way according to glassdoor.com GoGuardian is rated 2.8 out of 5! Did you know that GoGuardian is worth 1 BILLION!!!!!!! FOR NOTHING!!!!!! THE GOVERNMENT AND THE SCHOOLS ARE PAYING THEM!!!! FREE MONEY!!!! MUST BE NICE FOR THEM!!!!!! THE COMPANY MUST BE SHUT DOWN AND NEVER COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!! NOT A SINGLE KID SHOULD BE WATCHED OR CONTROLLED BY THIS HORRIBLE APP!!!!!!!!!!!STOP GOGUARDIAN AND SAVE THE WORLD! ALL KIDS MUST BE AGAINST IT!!!!! SHUT THEM DOWN!!!! THE GOVERNMENT MUST PAY!!! Thank you! We still have many questions about this app. What is the bypass password? Where did it come from? When will it end? Nobody knows. Forward Some people like it. I started a scratch studio and people quit to go to another one which is fine with me. But the real problem is that the studio people switched to was a support GoGuardian studio. It's not happining anymore though.
