I have no idea why I wrote this- It just came in the middle of the night and I wrote it down and it came to be set in a world full of darkness where people had never seen the sun. And for the first time in a bunch of years it shines. So here is it: I stare at the mountains Awe arises It is still dark, but you can tell the beauty Of the misty mountains right here before me The sun is behind the mountains Awaiting to shine Over the glamorous valleys Canyons and pines Wetness and the cold Stings at my skin It's a beautiful sight Too beautiful to imagine The sky turns a misty frosty blue Fits the hue People gather to see the sun Rise above the mountains giving the valley a sense of fun Whispered murmurs Of beauty's gaze As this was the first time we ever saw this beautiful haze The brightness blinded us as the sun arose Years of darkness have finally gone Now we have years to enjoy the sun
