Copies. I'm pretty sure, as artists, we can all agree, having your art, code, or ideas stolen can really hurt. And, obviously, we want it to stop. But sometimes, we just don't have the energy to. Thats me right now. I'm stuck in a class full of kids who hate me for no apparent reason. I don't have the energy to deal with it. Neither do i have the energy to deal with kids stealing my work. So here's my stance on this. Instead of making a fuss and starting arguments on this, when i see a copy/someone stealing my work, i will place this project as my featured project for three days, maybe more. Then it'll go back to my other featured project. If the copy isnt taken down by the next week, i'll put this project up again. I wont point names, or directly adress people and call them out, but if you were linked here, you probably were caught stealing. i'll delete the link after you reply to it for the sake of you not being harrassed [unless it was so obvious the link doesnt even need to be there for people to know] Okay, now that we got that past... WHAT IS OKAY, AND WHAT IS NOT- outright copying- absolutely not. no. no. instant report copying with credits- one warning. take it down. or report. using my art and claiming it as your own- absolutely not. never. never okay, stealing my designs- no! absolutely not! warning then instant report using my designs without perms- same as stealing em^ using my code without perms or credits- no! thats stealing! you will be reported! claiming my ideas as ur own [im talking to you, person who stole my hat duck]- also stealing. no! it makes me really upset :< 'fixing' my art- please don't! i like to feel proud of my art, not have people point out the mistakes, and 'fix' it. its not fixing it, it's making me feel bad about my art using my art as a good example WITH credits- yeah, as long as you ask me and i say yes! using my art to practice- ehh, just ask! Using my art to reference from my style cause u like it.- Yeah! Just don't trace it, but go for it! if you share the sketches, please credit me! And ping me! i wanna see how it turns out :) reposting my art- no! reposting my art on other platforms- absolutely NOT! take heavy inspo from my designs- no! instant report! take small inspo from my designs- just ask and ping me when you share! credit me too! Make fanart of my characters- YES OMG YES! Remix and fill out my templates- yeah! just credit me recolor my animations :< - no! please dont, i put hours of work into that, not just so someone could recolour them for their enjoyment :< Steal my code/templates and use them in a different project thats not a remix - no! instant report! remix and fill out my templates without crediting me and other's code thats used- No! you'll be warned once then reported. asking to offer for my designs- Yes! But please only ask once for designs, and you can't offer if theyve already gone/are going to someone else offering for my designs- if i said yes, go for it! i hope thats clear enough >-< if you read all this, thank you!
