The Bannister Mall was a 2 floor shopping mall built in 1980 and was located in Kansas City, Missouri, just 30 miles south of the Metro North Mall. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1043597746/ It had four anchor stores, Dillard's, JcPenney, The Jones Store, and Sears. The mall died by the 2000s because of low amount of visitors and the owner of the mall being in debt to pay for the ownership of the mall. The mall closed in 2007 and was demolished in 2009.
