This snapshot adds all of the new movement features, and revamped gun and sound mechanics. I've been working on this for a few weeks at this point and now think it's finally good enough to share to the public. Laser Gladiators has a long way to go until full completion, but the Mox Studios team is working faster than ever, and we plan to continue putting new Laser Gladiators content out in the near future. I'm really excited to see where this project will go, and I hope you are too! If you find any bugs, let me know! Planned future additions: New player models Crouching Vehicles Multiplayer UI Controls and mechanics: A - move left D - move right W - jump (can't hold jump button to jump (you jump higher if you hold the jump button (unless you're wall jumping)) (if up against a wall when falling, a wall jump will be preformed) S - ground slam (when in air increases how fast you fall) slide (when on ground and moving fast enough makes player move faster down slopes (will decrease hitbox size in future)) L - force game to lag (I encourage people to test this out because I added a system to make it look less laggy when the frame rate drops) R - reload your weapon Mouse click - shoot your weapon Explosions - weapons with this property give a boost to the players speed if they're close enough to the blast. Yes, TF2 fans, you can rocket jump. But don't worry! This will be nerfed into the ground when your actual health bar gets added lol Space or double tap move keys - sprint (can't start sprinting while in the air (will have a cooldown in the future) Going up slope - will decrease the player speed slightly (if slope is too steep to walk up, you will slip down it (the slipping took FOREVER to perfect)) Wall sliding - when up against a slope while falling and the move key that would move you toward the wall is being pressed, you will slide down the wall (will have a special hitbox in the future for asymmetrical main hitbox that will be used in LG) Scrolling - using the SCROLL X and SCROLL Y variables, you can control where the center of the screen is (always tries to get set to set to the x and the y, but has a slight delay to add an interesting visual effect) Recent bug fixes and additions: Fixed a glitch when rocket jumping while lagging would give you crazy height. Made rocket jumping give slightly more horizontal momentum. Fixed a glitch where bullets wouldn't delete themselves after traveling off-screen. Added new bullet costumes and animations. Made the player not able to wall jump right after hitting your head on a ceiling Fixed a glitch that made the reload sound not play if you reloaded manually. Currently unfixed bugs: Grenades will delete themselves when the player jumps while the grenade is close to the floor. Wall jumping in turbo mode is broken. Acceleration in turbo mode is broken. Explosion particles are broken when lagging. If you fix any of these glitches, I will be happy to put you in the credits of the full game.
