~Hey guys! I wrote this poem about my best friends. Hopefully it isn’t too cringe. If it is… oh well? Enjoy!~ {………………………………} My friends are my world. They are with me, through the good and bad, The happy and the sad. For the better or the worse, we’re in this together, Sunny or stormy, through any weather. I would go to hell and back, Just to know they would have my back. I know that my true friends love me for who I am, And don’t change me just because they can. Friends are the family you pick. They don’t make fun of you for kicks. I would do anything for my pals, Because they keep up my morale. We laugh about rubbish, We don’t act peevish About stupid things. Even when one of us wins, We clap them on the back, Instead of talking behind it. When I’m with my friends, I get this surreal feeling, Where everything is perfect Right here, In this moment. Like nothing in the world can tear us apart, Even if one of us does depart. So we’ll make memories and keep em’, Use a pen And keep writing About the times we were together. Because we’ll sure as hell not surrender The best moments of our lives To the sands of Time. Friends are always right beside you, Even if some things aren’t true. Because friends are the only ones That know the person behind the facade Of practiced conversations, And know that you aren’t perfection. You’re usually going in the wrong direction. But that doesn’t matter to them. Because you are perfect Just the way you are. And they are the Only ones who Can see That. ~Was that too cringe? Sorry if it was.~
