Instructions

Intro: To anyone who takes the time to read this: ✨ Rosie here! And I would like to welcome you to the very first Girl Life Weekly. This will be (As the name states) A weekly thing (Hopefully XD) where I share tips on anything from what hair products to use to what it means to be a Christian. Yup! You heard me, this is a Christian based series. ✨ You do NOT by any means have to be a Christian to read this or use these tips or ask for advise, but my hope is to bring more people to know our Heavenly Father. ✨ Every week I’d like to have a topic to go over, every other week it will be a Christian based topic, and the other days it will be tips like; What to do for headaches? How to know if he likes me? What to do if you have cramps? And many other things, and if there is a topic you’d like me to go over please let me know in the comments! ✨ If you have any questions let me know and I will go over them! And if you have prayer requests I will include them in the next week’s project. And if you have any Bible verses to share, or quotes you like, or ones you’ve made up, post them and I’ll add them in the next week’s project! ✨ Now, enough chitchat, let’s get to this week’s topic!!! Enjoy! :3 ✨ T.W.T( This Week’s Topic): Periods. We all have them, all hate them, and all wish they would go away. I hate to say that ain’t happening, sadly. So what are some things we can do to make them easier? ✨ 1. Tips: I always carry a light wait sweater or jacket with me, even if it’s ninety degrees outside. Why? Because we all know what it’s like to bleed through, and trust me, you don’t want to do it in public. Having a jacket you can tie around your waist is nice incase this does happen, that way you’re covered and don’t have to feel awkward or embarrassed. ✨ Even if your period isn’t due for two weeks, ALWAYS have pads and tampons with you! ✨ Story time! One time I was camping with my family and we were in the middle of nowhere, and around midnight I started getting really bad cramps, and the next morning I had the worst period I had ever had. And I had NOTHING at all because I thought my period wasn’t for another two weeks! So I learned a lesson lol XD I also figured out that when I get covid19 my cycle gets messed up and my period is early by a week or two. ✨ 2. Tricks: What to do for cramps? Well, I have found three great ways to help! And I would use them in this order; - Sit with a heating pad for 15-20 minutes - Take a hot bath (Epsom salts make a huge difference) - If the first two options don’t work take an Ibuprofen, but I would try not to because it can make you feel drowsy and sluggish, and it’s just not good for you. ✨ What to do if you’re PMS-ing (Premenstrual syndrome, or PMS, is a group of physical and emotional symptoms that start one to two weeks before your period. Most women have at least some symptoms of PMS, and the symptoms go away after their periods start. The symptoms may range from mild to severe. These include; Fatigue, irritation, mood swings, drowsiness, depression, stress, sleep loss and other things. ) First of all you need to realize you’re having these symptoms, sometimes it can be hard, but over time you will learn to recognize these signs and it will help you tremendously. Anyway, once you realize you are PMS-ing you want to know how to fix it, some ways to do that are; - Take a nap or just close your eyes for a bit to relax yourself. - Meditating or yoga helps a LOT! - Going somewhere that makes you calm and just relax, go outside and ground yourself. - Listen to sad songs. You all know I’m not crazy, it actually helps so much XD - Sometimes, depending on your symptoms, talking with a parent, sibling or trusted friend can help, sometimes you may just want to be alone, and that’s perfectly fine! But other times venting can be a bigger relief than you think. - Last but not least; Pray, praying to God can make you feel so much better! Talk to God like He’s a best friend, I talk to God every day! Even if it’s just to say thank you or that I’m so mad Xyz happened in my favorite TV show or book lol XD ✨ 3: Hacks: If you don’t have a popsicle mold, go get one! When I’m on my period I LOVE to make orange juice popsicles! Just straight up orange juice frozen, I don’t know why, but it’s just so refreshing and always makes me feel better! ✨ I hope this was helpful! I’ll see y’all next week! God bless you, and watch over you, and help you with whatever may be going on in your life. Like and fave, spread the word, and just stop in to say hi! ✨ See ya gals! -Rosie-
