Description

These deer-wolf creatures are essentially used for what horses normally are; traveling! I created Luxfangs after watching Lord of the Rings and noticing how easily all the horses were dying because they never fought back, plus horses irl are known for being spooked by everything and running off. So, Fellkore's "horses" are fluffy deer with canine teeth and a dog-like demeanor! Luxfangs are incredibly friendly animals that usually live in packs in the wild, but will bond with their owner with the same loyalty. They aren't scared of a fight, and will protect their owners and other Luxfangs with their teeth, antlers, and powerful hooves. The spikes are for defense and can lay flat against their bodies when not in use. Luxfangs have different shades and saturation of blue-gray fur, with varying blues in their antlers, hooves, teeth, and spikes. Their antlers also glow! They're carnivorous critters and might snatch up birds or squirrels that cross their path, but, being easily trainable, they can be taught not to snack on potential pets. The fluffiness of Luxfangs provides a soft cushion for the creatures that ride them, leaving no need for saddles. To steer them, creatures either tug gently on the antlers, or they use verbal commands. These animals can also pull carts, and may work as a team to pull larger loads. There is also a breed called the Toy Luxfang; a tiny version of a normal Luxfang that many have as a household pet!
