okay. I don't even know if this is a problem on scratch anymore, but i'm adressing it anyway. ((caps warning for the next sentence)) ENDOGENIC SYSTEMS ARE REAL. Most people seem to think that systems were caused by DID or something. It isn't- specifically. According to Google, “Endogenic” wasn't created to mean “DID without the trauma”. It was created to mean systems that felt their plurality was due to a neurodivergence, from a psychological cause other than DID/OSDD, from some sort of spiritual cause, with a friendly outlook towards tulpamancy or soulbonding." Systems aren't "people with DID." specifically. It's multiple beings that share the same brain/body. This can be for a multitude of reasons, not just DID. It might be because of neurodivergency. It might be because of therianthropy. (do you ever hear your theriotype's voice in your head when you're having a shift? I do.) It might be because you believe that multiple spirits were reicarinated into your body. One thing's for sure. Plurality is not optional. It is possible to be making it up. But if someone is making it up, it will be pretty easy to tell. And before you jump in with all the "oh it isn't proven by scientific studies" stuff, just know that there's a lot of things that aren't proven by studies that I'm sure you believe in anyway. Like the fact that humans were meant to hate on others. If you think someone is crazy for being an ENDOGENIC system, fine. But stay away from them if you do. And for your information, I keep seeing comments about how endogenic systems and kin systems aren't real (aka my kind of system), and my head mates keep yelling obsessively at them. We fight enough already. Don't do that.
