AHHHHHHHHH IT’S TIMEEEEEEEEEEEE (you know if you know) Yep, it’s Diwali! Festival of light! But I think that’s all that schools teach everyone. I’ll tell you some things we do, and what this time means for us. The word "diwa", with my understanding of Hindi, means lit candle. We indeed light candles called diyas. I don’t light them, my family doesn’t make nor buy them, but we light normal ones. We do light sparklers, though! We light them at night and look at all the colors. We make treats like ladoos, shankarpali, and other foods! The lights for us represent good. Good everything, good food, good hygiene.
