USS Wright was a Saipan-class aircraft carrier built in 1944 that in 1962 was converted into a command ship for NECPA (National Emergency Command Post Afloat) duties. It was meant to be a floating White House to survive a nuclear attack. It was struck in 1977 after decommissioning in 1970, being scrapped in 1980.
