not me forgetting I had these lying around in my gallery no sir- I think I made these in July lol I went for a double-exposure look I think. I like books 1 and 5 the most in terms of design. As for whether or not I'll actually use these, I don't think these will be the premiere look but rather a collector's design later on. 1: The Fourth Royal (focuses mainly on Shadow) 2: The Kitsune's Curse (focuses on Christina) 3: The White Trident (focuses on Spork/Oceanus) 4: The Corrupted Mirror (Kind of a mixed bag, but since this is a development arc for both Dodo and Midnight I made Midnight the focus of the cover design) 5: The Rising Star (focuses on Dodo) I'm going to go off on a tangent here, but when I remade The Fourth Royal, it ran pretty similarly to the original, aside from a few scenes being added/changed. Bucktooth was never in the original, the ending scene is completely different, and in the original, Midnight meets the main trio at the end of the book. In the new version, the trio are all under the impression that he's dead, and don't meet him again until book 2. Book 2 is a lot more different than the original. For starters, we get an actual fleshed-out backstory for Christina, and apparently in the original Clyde was a simp??? Also he ended up getting like 15 panels of screentime and then was never seen again. But in the NEW version, we get a whole kick-butt action fight scene and Clyde nearly murders everyone. Such a cool villain imo. And in the original, the main gang just go and free Christina from her curse right then and there, almost too similarly to the first book. In the new version, they just give her a temporary fix and then go freaking fight the Mafia. YEAH! There's a lot more fight scenes if you were wondering- I love writing/drawing them so much. And Midnight's a simp. I genuinely don't have any idea what I was going to do originally for TaDGA after I finished TKC, except a vague notion of the gang going back to Darkein and getting hunted by rats??? It felt too much like book 1 so instead I'm going to give Dodo and the gang a whole development arc and make Dodo time-travel. Meanwhile the others get to fight dragons and go sailing, and take down the Mafia and also keep creepy-crawlies from coming up from underground. I'm pretty sure the original idea for book 3 was going to be called The Rosenix's Power, and the main reason for going back to Darkein was them trying to find the Rosenix and keeping the world from dying and withering away. I'm still keeping that idea, but I'm saving it for the last book lol
