Key: [thinking] "Dialouge" Setting: In a forest, mid afternoon CHAPTER 1: A white Turkish Van runs into a forest. [Oh, I probably shouldn’t have run away from my housefolk...] He thinks. [Well, too late now, I guess. Plus, up this is better. I don’t want to be held up in that house all day!] The cat slows down his pace and catches his breath. [How long have I been running?] He asks himself. [It feels like forever.] He stops and looks around. [Oh no, I have no idea where I’m going!] Something pounces on the white cat and pins him to the ground. He yelps. "Please, please, please don’t kill me! I want to live!" He wails."I-" "Oh, shut up, you p#££ŷ cat!" The thing snaps. It was a cat, with blue fur, silver highlights shining in the sunlight. His blue eyes glinted. He was bigger and definitely older than the cat he has pinned down, with a confident kind of posture to him. Another cat came running up to him. He looked like a red tabby, red stripes overlaying white fur. He too had blue eyes, but they looked nervous, eyes traveling from the blue cat to the white one. He looked young, around the same size as the white cat. "Seeth'Whisker! I-is this cat from Shadowclan?" The tabby asks, looking at the white cat with fear in his eyes. "No, Rusty'Paw, just a mere kittypet." Seeth'Whisker gets off the white Turkish Van, who, trembling, gets to his feet. "What do you think you’re doing in our territory?" Seeth'Whisker asks the Turkish Van. "I- your territory?" The cat asks incredulously. Seeth'Whisker sighed. "Look, this isn’t any of your business, kittypet. Just go back to where you came from." The Turkish Van flicks his tail and goes somewhere in a grove of trees. Seeth'Whisker and Rusty'Paw walk towards willow trees. "Why do you think that cat was in the forest?" Rusty'Paw asks. Seeth'Whisker was going to answer, but he hears leaves rustle. [Is that kittypet following us?] He thinks. He stops and goes to the leaves. Rusty'Paw stops a few moments later, realizing that his mentor is not with him. Seeth'Whisker went into the leaves and yet again pushes and pins the Turkish Van on the ground. "Ow! Geez, you have really strong senses," the cat says, swiping at Seeth'Whisker’s paw and getting up. "It really isn’t that hard," Seeth'Whisker says. "You make quite a ruckus." The cat glares at Seeth'Whisker. "Why are you following us?" Rusty'Paw asks, coming through the leaves. "You said this was your territory. What does that mean? And you seem like you know this place well," the cat says, nodding at Seeth'Whisker. "You must’ve lived here for a long time. And obviously you two can’t be the only ones living in this land. I want to join your group." "Listen, kittypet, you’re thinking with false information. There is no group, no nothing." Seeth'Whisker says. "I know you’re lying. I know signs of dishonesty, and you’re showing them." Seeth'Whisker stands still for a few seconds, then says, "Your assumptions may be true. But why do you think you are worthy of joining?" "Worthy of joining?" "What strengths do you have? What skills?" "Is that a challenge? Would you like me to show them to you?" Seeth'Whisker takes a few steps back. "Fight me." The cat pounces on Seeth'Whisker. He quickly dodges. The cat lands on his feet and turns, but Seeth'Whisker lifts his paw and scratches the cat’s face. He hisses in pain and starts to pounce on Seeth'Whisker again, but Seeth'Whisker says, "That’s enough." He regards the cat. "You can use some work. But you are… better than I expected kittypets to be." Seeth'Whisker sighed again. "Alright, we’ll take you to RiverClan." "RiverClan?" "Rusty'Paw can explain." Rusty'Paw’s ears perked up. Seeth'Whisker walked the direction they were going. "What is RiverClan?" The cat asks, going through the leaves. "It’s the group of cats Seeth'Whisker and I are from." Rusty'Paw pauses for a moment, then asks, "What’s your name?" "Cloudy. It’s the name my housefolk gave me." Rusty'Paw smiles. "Well, hi, Cloudy." And Cloudy walks… somewhere. AHH TURKISH VANS LOOK SO CUTE Rusty'Paw is Canada, I feel like him being a red tabby would be so cute! He’s going to be America’s Graystripe. Seeth'Whisker is UK, AND BOY I LOVE HIM!!
