okay i thought of the lore for this, NOW the beast is NOT from this island, or anywere near here. but the island i very radieoactive, so youre there, you get bigger. however, there is also radium eating mites around the island that fill the water, they suck the radeum out, but only past a limit, so something with radum goes in, only gets big, and then once it leaves. the mites only suck the added radium, turning it how it was before the radium was added. and these mites are protecting the natural order, that so nothing big destroys the echosystems of other island.
