~~~~~~~~~Chapter 3: The Future is Bleak~~~~~~~~ [Dark] I can see the broken panel that leads to Alan’s computer. ‘I need to tell Chosen.’ I kept thinking to myself. If Victim really was on the PC, then Second wouldn’t be the only one in danger. I kept thinking back to the conversation between him and that agent guy I overheard. “Isn’t our ultimate goal to get rid of the other hollowheads?’ ‘Alan said TSC is not to be touched” ‘Alan said.’ I thought. Of course he’d want to get rid of us. He’s scared of anything that’s more powerful than him. ‘Heh. I guess that’s why he keeps TSC around…’ TCO’s voice snapped me back to reality. “You ready?” I clench my fists, debating whether I should say anything. I didn’t want Chosen to get hurt, but I didn’t want to freak him out either. Whatever weapon, “Protocol V” I assume, Victim had that day scared both of us, and we are not easily scared. I decided against saying anything. I was probably just being paranoid. “As I’ll ever be.” I replied. He smiled, then shot up through the panel. I didn’t follow him immediately though. I pulled a black wristband out of my pocket. Last week Second had wanted to play hide and seek in the woods near our house. While it was childish, it was pretty fun. I ended up finding this thing while being the seeker. It was glowing red and crackling, but it stopped as soon as I picked it up. I put it on when TCO took TSC back to the PC. It made some kind of energy weapon that constantly glitched and vibrated, but it was a weapon nonetheless. “Just in case..” I whispered to myself before slipping the black band onto my wrist. I shot up through the panel behind Chosen. But as I got closer to the PC, the edges of my vision darkened. I thought it was just PTSD related, like I was blacking out from memories, so I just shook my head to try to get rid of it. I popped out of the portal onto the dark PC where Chosen was calling out for Second. I was about to say something about how it was weird the PC was off, but the band started to crackle with red energy and it manifested the glitched blade. I moved to turn it off, but my arm wouldn’t move. I.. I wouldn’t move. I couldn’t control my own body. “Don’t you think it’s weird the PC off? It’s nowhere near nighttime..” I said. I said? I mean I thought it, but I didn’t say it. ‘What the hell is happening?!’ “Maybe Alan just took a break? It doesn’t explain why Second isn’t here though..” TCO said hesitantly. I could tell he was worried, but I couldn't worry about that. Something was trying to control me, and succeeding. ‘Or someone..’ I thought. I took a step. Then another. Even though I couldn’t move it, I could feel the energy radiating off of the glitching sword getting brighter. ‘Wait. Don’t. Stop!’ ‘Don’t hurt him!’
