The end of the school year has finally come. This year has felt so long. I have learned more about myself in the past year than I had in my whole life, but there's still a whole lot more to learn. Next year I am going into high school. The "big kid" school. High school has always seemed like something so far away; it was almost like it was never even real, just a prospect you were told of and was yet to come. Now I am going to that school. I am now that "big kid" I'd always dreamed I would be. I am entering the future. This scares me a bit, but the idea of it is so exciting. I still am grasping at the clues of my identity, trying to piece them together, but this fresh start could open up a whole new world of possibilities. I am excited to have something to work for, something to look forward to. You may notice that on the tree I have drawn, the branches never end. They merely keep branching out into infinity, creating new beginnings at every corner. On my tree of life, a new branch is spreading out. It is creating a new beginning for my life.
