The Abyss is an enormous underground cave system filled with radioactivity. Creatures in the abyss have evolved into strange and horrific entities known as "Abyssals". No sunlight ever reaches the caverns, so the only light comes from bioluminescent berries known as "glowfruit" and bioluminescent animals.
