! - THERE IS NO GOOD WAY FOR ME TO JUDGE WAVE DIFFICULTIES RIGHT NOW, PROCEED WITH CAUTION DURING CHALLENGE WAVES - ! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Welcome to Difficulty Chart TD! The premise is simple: Keep the Difficulties from reaching the left side of the screen. Easy enough... right? The objective is to remix and place towers with unique abilities in order to take down 80 waves. The game ends when all 80 waves are successfully taken down without your lives hitting 0. Press Z and X to show/hide settings. Current Cats: - Basic Cat: Occasionally fires a shot at a random angle. Deals 2 damage, and misses often. - Mouse-Pointer Cat: Points at the mouse-pointer and fires shots. Deals 2 damage, and fires faster than the Basic Cat. - PushPower Cat: Press space or click to make it fire bullets faster. Deals 0.5 HP. - Dark Cat: Charges up and releases a wave of dark orbs that all deal 1 damage each. Good with crowd control. - SineWave Cat: Releases a cluster of 3 damage projectiles that move in a sinewave pattern every 10 seconds. Protects the bottom lane effectively. - Cero Cat: An activated ability causes this cat to fire a Cero, which has no I-frame delay. Good for eliminating individual boss enemies. This is the ONLY way Cero Cat can attack. - Medic Cat: If your spacebar CPS is very fast, you will heal 1 HP per 5 seconds. Furthermore, it will shoot a poisoned needle every 5 seconds, damage equates to 4. - Anti Matter Cat: shots projectiles moderatly fast. these projectiles will get slower and then go to the oposite direction until it hits itself. when hitting enemies deals 3 damage and makes the enemies go backwards for a second - Stampede Cat: Only spawns via it's activated ability. The stampede is good for clearing out tricky waves as each cat does 5 damage and can reach difficulties from anywhere. It has a very long cooldown though, so use it wisely Subspace Tripmine: has a 60 second cooldown and only attacks with an ability. Subspace Tripmine Cat throws a Subspace tripmine on the floor and 10 or 20 seconds later it explodes dealing 10 damage every 0.5 seconds. Things You Can Do While Remixing: - Create a new tower - Apply a reasonable buff to an existing tower - Change a tower's properties - Create an activated ability - Nerf / remove a tower if you feel it breaks the rules Rules: - No overpowered towers. - No skipping rounds. - You can only perform any of the above actions 1 time per remix. You can do all these actions, but only 1 time. What Counts and What Doesn't: - Enemies will take damage when touching your tower There is nothing I can do to fix this. (Explain confusing mechanics/gray areas here.) CREATOR'S NOTE: Figured I'd bring this old project back from the dead. If you guys liked Prologue, I added a whole new level of strategy to Episode 1 in the form of activated abilities. This project has been years in the making, and I'm tired of watching it rot in my Unshared Projects folder. If you guys like this project, let me know and I'll get to work on an Episode 2! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Difficulty Chart TD - Episode 1: The War Begins "The cats and difficulties have declared war against each-other, although neither side can do much more than fire a projectile or move their body respectively... This sunset hillside is the stage for the very first major conflict of the war - Battle of Sun Ridge."
