I understand how people are now saying that Wii Sports was overrated because it was just a tech demo selling at almost 83 million, but what I think is that without this game, we wouldn't have all the other cool motion controlled games that we all love like Beat Saber on the oculus or something like that. Nowadays it's like everyone's least favorite favorite game of all time, and they just shun it for what it really is. Not showing any hate to everyone that agrees with those who say this game is a tech demo (which frustrates me to hear), but I think this game needs more attention. Let me tell you why I think this: 1: "If Wii Sports was included with the console, does it really count?". I'd beg to differ on that, not saying that they're dumb to think that, but you're still technically buying the game, it's just along with the console, so from a technical standpoint, did it really cheat? I sometimes wonder if people bring that up just cuz' they don't wanna admit that Wii Sports is the highest selling Nintendo game of all time. 2: Fire soundtrack, the music is so wonderful to hear, but people don't really seem to appreciate this stuff no more. 3: Bowling was so much fun bruh. I loved breaking my TV from not wearing the wrist strap. 4: Nostalgic training modes and the Wii Fitness, which no one probably used (correct me if I'm wrong pls). 5: When modded, this game is even more beauty. Check out @ImnotaCasualty, he posts some good content on YT. 6: People make up things about this game, saying that the motion controls are gimmicky. These controls feel nowhere near a gimmick, maybe golf, and also if I am wrong, this is 2006 so what were you expecting. That's it. I expect some people to try to comeback at me, but for now please don't criticize me for my opinions, I do really think this game is underrated now.
