This is from September 22. I just couldn’t decide on what music to use, and if I should just include this in my art dump for Autumn. My profile’s kind of dying though, so I need something to post. I try not to be too concerned with posting stuff anymore, though. I should be out with an art trade soon, too. Anyway, I finally drew Granite and his son, Larimar, kind of interacting with other. I've had them for like 6 years now, and I can't remember the last time I've actually drawn them together in an image. I barely draw my characters with each other and a finished painting, so it was nice to do this (despite the fact that like took like 12 hours.... I spread that out over the course of a week though, so it wasn't draining). I am actually pretty happy with this drawing. I wanted it to be more painterly, but I think it achieves the feelings I wanted it to and is cute. It's nice to see Granite not being evil too and just being a nice dad. I think Larimar is actually a little too small in this illustration. Also, Larimar redesign. His design may be refined in the future but probably not majorly.
