Instructions

This remix chain will NEVER END lol Notice to all remixers: DO NOT ADD WAV FILES! Unless they are shord sound files, I do not support adding more music anymore. If you must, convert them to an MP3 before adding them! It helps save file size! first things first: double-click the flag if you wanna play! this is just an ordinary platformer turned into a survival minigame. survive multiple characters made by other people as you run n' jump around one screen in an attempt to stay alive for the longest time possible! (you play as TSOS Blue in this, by the way.) you're not on your own though. there's items too! item list: Clock - Extends the stage timer by 10 seconds. Forcefield - Makes you temporarily invincible. (10s) Heart Piece - Restores 1 HP. Spring - Increases your jump height. (10s) Dash Arrow - Increases your speed. (5s) Mini Portal - Warp to a random location. Golden Heart - Restores 4 HP. You can also get up to 12 additional hit points! Mini Clock - Extends the stage timer by 5 seconds. Mysterious item that makes a funny noise - dinner blaster Negation Clock - Reduces the timer. Only spawns in on special occasions... and is not a bad item unlike Fake Clocks. rules: 1: You can't be overpowered. This'll make survival unfair for the player. (I will allow insta-kills on certain conditions, like how Ambei's beam will insta-kill you if you're immediately hit by it when it spawns in.) 2: Be creative! Mess with the player's vision, change up the map, alter the controls... just follow rule 1! Oh, and there's no character template. 4: You may add more music too. 5: No PNGs, please. (talking to you, @agjunaka with those PNGs always wearing propeller suits and whatnot.) 6: You may add more positive items too. I probably should've addressed that in rule 2... eh, whatever. 7: Lastly, you may add more maps to the map pool. controls: - left and right arrows to move, up arrow to jump. - down arrow to crouch. guide: - For a list of every character and their mechanics, check the Info sprite. - Every 2 seconds, you get one point. - ALWAYS pay attention to the stage timer when possible. - Having the Forcefield item active does NOT protect you from dying when the timer runs out. - When you die, the remaining time you had left is converted into points. 1 second is 1 point. - Dash Arrows will lower your jump height, so watch out! - You automatically start with the Golden Heart's effects, so there's a free advantage for a remix this far into the main branch! - Clocks are guaranteed to spawn in once the stage timer goes below 10 seconds. - What's the new powerups for...? Sounds like the end is near...

Want to try and help us out by squashing some bugs? Scroll down! -- CHANGES -- + New enemy: Leesho! Leeshos are a parasitic species that survive off of Time. When their roots pop up, a matured parasite bursts out and starts leeching off of the nearest source of Time. Leeshos make your timer drain twice as fast! To rid of them, touch their root (the green sack)! + Fixed bug where leaving by the left side after defeating Final Squid would cause you to fight him again + New mode: Practice Mode! Springing from one of GenericProtogen's comments, Practice mode makes you untouchable! You cannot die to instakills, lack of health, or the timer! If the timer hits 0, it goes back to 30! Practice mode is prioritised over Perfect Run Mode. + Progress bar dictating time before an Elite spawns. + New countdown appearance. + New timer appearance. + New thumbnail appearance. + Most songs longer than 2 minutes have been halved and some compressed. + The three most resource-heavy songs; DEATH, Final Encounter, and FINAL SQUID's battle music; have been compressed to MP3 and trimmed. This should hopefully reduce file size. + Song 'Pillar John's Revenge' removed because it is not used. -- KNOWN BUGS -- - Leeshos spawn during final boss fight. I forgot where I put the code for spawning Leeshos... - Slotty prevents clocks that normally spawn during the final ten seconds from spawning, this was not how I programmed him so somebody else must have caused this - Elite Progress Meter stays during final boss fight - Wind on Below Zero does not affect the player when jumping -- IDEAL CHANGES -- - Change Light Up The Night layout. Currently is it a bumpy Final Destination - QOL: Let Red/Green/Blue squares not be able to hurt you during the first half second of spawning, I have been sniped by those guys more times than I'd like to admit - QOL: Red/Green/Blue squares despawning after a minute or two of existing? I know thats not what they are supposed to do but it genuinely becomes laggy - QOL: Contrast between Light Up The Night ground and background
