My Review: “Yes yes, I know the Rotten Tomatoes reviews. But trust me, this is a good one. So this movie focuses on “birding” which is, as you may have known, searching for birds. Now I won’t spoil what a “Big Year” is for you, so you can find that out yourself. Our main protagonists are Jack Black, Steve Martin, and Owen Wilson with their characters attempting to beat each other’s records with how many birds they can find, but with a price to pay (figuratively). When I first watched this movie, I thought this one wasn’t gonna be too enticing or exciting. Well I was right, but in a good way. Instead of comical slapstick humor, we have genuine life lessons …. all coming from BIRDS! There are some funny moments here and there too, but also some solemn moments as well that really make you feel for the characters and what they’re going to do. Now I didn’t want to spoil this movie too much which is why I didn’t talk about the plot a lot. I recommend you go and get off your device and give this movie a watch. It (may) be worth it.” Rating: 9/10 no regrets Sorry for such a long review xD. This movie really stuck with me as one of the best movies I’ve seen from the 2010’s …. and they have my three personal favorite actors all in one movie!
