They both were infected, however, Nathan got worse over time while Andy was still minorly affected by the virus. The virus is only getting worse, this isn't good for him or Andy. Nathan also recognizes Whizzy and Matthew, yet he does forget about others because his brain is half working. They both are staying in the basement in their own house to avoid people, however... People had gotten in...While during work hours of the xilltown police station,debacles gets a mission to investigate the house Nathan and Andy are hiding in,he decides to go to the location and also killing multiple infected on the way he gets to the house,he tries to open the door but it's locked so he lock picked it,after he got in the house he locked the door behind him and he started looking around until he found the basement,with curiosity he unlocked the door only to find the missing people the station somehow knew about,they were said as criminals to life,so he has 1 thing to do,get them arrested.
