Everything controlled with the arrow keys/WASD and spacebar! --> CLICKING "ITEMS" WILL SOFTLOCK <-- All you can do in the demo is roll the dice, look at the board, and choose which path you want to take. Feel free to remix and add more features (with proper credit)!
I worked on this for a week in May 2024 to see if I could make a polished Mario Party engine. While it's definitely missing a lot of features, I'm very happy with the results! I put in a lot of effort to make things feel *smooth*, from the movement to the UI. Also, yes, those aren't Mario characters; pulled some sprites from a certain Sonic spin-off instead :P The idea of doing a full Mario Party game on Scratch crossed my mind, but ultimately, I don't think it's the right project for me to pursue, so I'm leaving it here. I love Mario Party, but the reason I love it is the multiplayer, which Scratch just isn't designed for. I do a lot of "coding experiments" like this offline, and I may share a few more of them over the next few days; but, only the ones that I have no plans to expand on... some of them have a bit more potential ;)
