----CONTROLS---- WASD To Move The Corn Space To Shoot Fish towards the mouse pointer Hold V to show score variables Hold E to show the shop ----Shop Items' Uses---- --Fish Pitch-- Makes the water effects when shooting the fish be higher pitched. Increasing the pitch make sound play for a less amount of time and fish shooting code used "play sound until done" block so it would as a result make the shoot speed faster so you could get more fish on the screen or just pop balloons faster. The maximum pitch is 250. --Fish Bounce-- Increases the amount of times the pufferfishes can bounce off the edge before getting destroyed. --Pop Value-- Increases the amount of coins gained per pop. That means you get coins faster so you can get other upgrades. The maximum value is 16. --Balloon Pitch-- Makes the popping sound effects for the balloon be lower pitched and therefore take longer. Like the fish the balloons also use the "play sound until done" block, so if the sound takes longer then they linger after being popped for longer, which could be used to keep the fish away from the edge or just have more balloons on screen. --Balloon Split Chance-- Increases the likelihood of a clone spawning upon a balloon popping --Split Repeat Chance-- Increases the likelihood of multiple balloons spawning when a split event happens. After a balloon spawns it will roll the repeat chance until a fail, so you can get more than 1 extra balloon if you are lucky. --Balloon Armor-- Increase the amount of times needed to hit a balloon before it gets teleported/destroyed. It can be used to see which balloon is a clone without destroying it. Hitting the balloons while they still have armor will give pops and coins but wont spawn clones. --Clone Balloon Survival-- Increase the chance of a clone balloon teleporting instead of getting destroyed on pop. ----Fish Explanation---- The fish get destroyed when it touches the edge and runs out of bounces They also get slowed or even stopped and revered when touching balloons. You can use this to your advantage to get a lot of fish on screen. ----Balloon Explanation---- --Popping Visual Effect-- If the balloon whirls clockwise upon being popped that means you popped the original balloon, but if it whirls counterclockwise upon being popped that means it was a clone balloon. --Clone Balloons-- Clone balloons have a set amount of hits before being destroyed but have a double the chance to spawn a new balloon and double the coins when popped ----Resetting---- The game doesn't reset upon pressing the green flag (except for cloned being deleted) instead hold R for ~10 seconds (or just press R if you are in turbo mode) to reset the game, this does include score variables, so remember your best scores before you reset. Refreshing the page will reset the game too (duh)
for Scratchtober 2024 day 5 the theme was popcorn I know this isn't what they meant by popcorn but the corn does in fact pop things so I think it works
