The Richland Mall, in Waco, Texas was opened in March of 1980 with over 700,000 feet of retail area. It had a max of 95 stores and 7 anchor stores, JcPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, two Dillard's stores, one was once a Sears, Tilt Studio, and Shoe Depot. The Sears anchor closed in 2018. As more stores closed because of Covid-19, the mall has been very quiet since 2022 and is dying.
