This project is an interactive look into the case of Adnan Syed and my opinions on whether or not Adnan is guilty and other aspects of the case. ========================================= This game was created for a school English project and was inspired by the Serial Podcast which takes a look at a murder case and the conviction of the supposed murderer Adnan Syed. In this project you can click through and view various pieces of evidence from the case while hearing my opinions on the podcast and on the innocence/guilt of Adnan Syed. ======================================== To play this game just hit the green flag and enjoy! Volume is required for the full experience as a main part of the game is in audio form. To click through the various pieces of evidence please use the arrows on screen, you can also view the title of a piece of evidence by clicking on said evidence ( Note: Do not spam either of the arrow buttons, this will result in the titles glitching to not correspond to the correct pieces of evidence. If this occurs you can press the green flag to restart the project and fix the issue but this will restart the audio as well ). At the end there is some quick required information about why I chose this format and what advantages this media text provides so feel free to ignore that aspect if you’re just an average Scratch user wanting to experience the game! ======================================== For the different pieces of evidence that you can click through they are all either edited copies of the actual documents found on the official Serial maps and documents site or redrawn/typed version of those documents to improve clarity. To view them better or with more context and information you can use the sources listed in the Notes and Credits to go check out the podcast and sources related to it! ======================================== This idea for my project was inspired by obviously the Serial Podcast but also by the video game Unheard and the board games Body of Evidence, The Ghost in the Machine, and Hidden Games Crime Scene Case No.1: The MapleBrooke Case.
