Uhm ok, as some of you guys know I’ve sorta left? I come to check in every few weeks and so, but I felt *fearful* motivation to send over a message, because I feel some of you have forgotten that scratch is a child’s website. Not a teens website, no, it is mainly a child’s website. Stop expecting scratch to adapt and overcome with the swearing, inappropriate behavior and messages. That’s the summary, but now into some extra life stories lol: When I was part of the aes comm (on my now deleted for my own reasons account named @Gr3yC0re ) I didn’t really like it. I was like ten then, and boyyyy scratch was NOT a safe place! Please don’t assume the age of somebody and treat them like it, you could always end up traumatizing a younger child! Don’t share personal info on scratch, or anywhere even! I mean I’ve made the mistake and regretted it, so from somebody with experience, don’t do it. The aes comm is sort of targeted in this, but I’m not sure, because I haven’t been back in ages. But I remember they were all cool and nice, but they also (not targeted, but just saying) were kinda like rude? I’m sure that’s just the way they talk, and I’m not used to it but it could always just happen to be a child that they upset! So even if it’s a joke, make sure it doesn’t hurt someone’s feelings! Bye! Let’s make scratch a child friendly community again :)
Dont comment if you’re gonna hate pls :) Cover art by dragonwinnie on le internet Sorry it doesn’t really make sense but the message should still flow
