Finally, I'm posting my ideas for Spruce :sob: I already had him all fleshed out, just not for the public eye. I'll try to explain his progression (w/o spoilers) throughout the story. 【Beginning】: Sprucetail is a light blue-grey tom with bright blue eyes. His tail resembles a fir/spruce tree, hence his name. Wears flowers a lot! No scars, cheerful/cocky demeanor, but loveable. Little to no significant figures, but is noted to be a sturdy cat with a large bushy tail. His tail is a feature he is most proud of! Tidy fur, despite the amount of it. 【Middle】: The progression is slow, trust me, but like a seasoned tree, Spruce becomes hardened and cynical. His fur is tangled and spiky(er). I decided to darken his pelt and eyes; it's a stark contrast from the beginning, but the darkened features is a gradual development. This is during what I call the "Underground War" arc. Earns three large scars on his neck/shoulders from a fight with another cat; I know they're big, but that's how I see them in my minds eye. Gains a scar at the base of his tail from a minor fight with a different cat on the same day. He gets larger, and his mind starts going through..some havoc, to say the least. His left ear is later torn to the point where it cannot stand on it's own. 【End/Epilogue】: Although he's healed, or at the very least, healing, some scars and changes remain, and I find that very important for him. He does become leader of Coveclan, and earns his leader name. In my WC AU, leaders are given additional markings plus a star on their forehead. He gains a scar on his muzzle at the Last Battle by an unnamed warrior. He mellows out, now more mature, and starts using flowers and accessories again. The flowers, this time, represent his loved ones, living and passed on. Has a few grey hairs:) Adopts his son, Eelkit; co-parents with his lifelong friend, Freckledust ( she's also kinda important lol)
