........-*^As Laneia gazed into Lunin's eyes, hope sparked in her. She knew the feeling could be washed away in an instant-It had happened before-but Laneia couldn't help the fluttery feeling that beated inside her. She could feel her face turn warm as Lunin stuck his tounge out teasingly, probably a sequel to one of his "hilarious" jokes. Laneia giggled in a high-pitched tone as Lunin remarked about something Laneia missed, too busy lost in her fluttery thoughts. Her thoughts fizzled away abruptly as a paw prodded her side. "What's wrong?" He asked, in that straight-forward voice that always made her nervous. "N-nothing..." she stammered, looking away and hoping he wouldn't notice her fire red face. "Come on" Lunin coaxed, pacing in front of her. "Are you sure you're okay?" Laneia paused for a second, afraid she'd spit out one of her stupid answers, but instead she said, "Yeah. Why do you ask?" She shuffled her paws, waiting until he answered. "I don't know" He remarked, looking at her wistfully. "But I do know..." He placed his paw on hers, ignoring the fact her face felt hotter than lava. "That I don't want to see you sad" Laneia gazed at her paws, feeling tears swell in her eyes. Maybe, just maybe, this time it would work out.
