Soooooo this year I was gonna do Lemontober but oh my god S C H O O L destroyed my motivation so yeah nope, I got up to day 1 and barely finished day 2 (which was Spirit Phone *cri*) and then back in August I told myself I was gonna animate Dead Man’s Party by Oingo Boingo (yes I like Oingo Boingo alongside Lemon Demon) but I didn’t get around to it so maybe next year guys- so have this and the complete Lifetime Achievement Award MAP! Soft Fuzzy Man And, I’d like to bring something up. I’m going on hiatus. I don’t really have many reasons to be on Scratch now, I don’t really plan on making more content here, and it’s possible I’ll leave soon. Though I think for now, I’ll just go on break, decide for myself, and leave if I want to. There’s probably a few more pieces of content I’ll post, and then I’ll leave for good. It’s also come to my senses that I am way too terminally online. I really need to stop going down rabbit holes on the internet and take a break. It’s very possible during this break however, that I will be active offsite. If you need me, please come find me on ToyHouse (SoftFuzzyMoth) I’m not going to be favoriting characters or posting bulletins or anything though, you might see me post characters occasionally but for the most part I might not do anything at all. I’m trying to stay offline for the most part, find a good pastime, and work on my own stories, as I’ve noticed going down social media rabbit holes not only prevent me from completing priorities (like homework and chores) but also personal tasks. (Like character references and stories.) It’s also occurred to me that Scratch is just simply not for me. The copyright issues, the limited demographic on this site, don’t even get me started on the moderation issues. This isn’t inherently a complaint, I believe Scratch Team has reasons for why they do what they do, and everyone makes mistakes. (Though, I am going to say this constructively, we are ALLOWED to complain about the site if we want to. We have the Freedom of Speech for a site that is stationed in the U.S. To Scratch Team, if this project catches your eye -which I am fully inclined to believe is highly unlikely- if you see a project complaining about the site, take it as an issue you need to improve. And to all Scratchers wishing to complain about the site in the future, don’t give direct criticism. Please give constructive criticism and be as polite as possible. Do not make the team feel as if they are having anger and rage forced down their throat. Present your grievances as constructive criticism and as a: “Hi, you have a problem that I think should be fixed. Can you listen to my ideas and possibly take my suggestions into action? Thank you!” Scratch team is HUMAN. We, (well, most of us on the site that is,) are human. (Or animal/whatever you choose to identify as.) The last thing I will add is that I strongly encourage my friends/followers/anyone viewing this project who is under 13 not to follow me offsite, I don’t post any sensitive content anywhere for obvious reasons, but there are plenty of people who do, and I do not want you exposed to that.
