20 Questions for Writers! (To Make You Think Hard) 1. Q: What got you interested in writing? A: stories about my ocs :3 2. Q: Did you always like writing? A: not really, i learned i like writing when i was like 9ish 3: Q: What is the story that has just been sitting around in your brain, waiting to come to life? Is it just a vague idea that catches your heart, or is it already an elaborate story? A: its basically a stroy about a roleplay i never finished because the person got banned- 4. Q: What makes a story catch your heart? A: uhm well i love Rick Riordan books so books based off Mythology and uhm.. mythical books :D 5. Q: Do you think that there's a pattern that all good stories follow, or are they all different? A: they are mostly the same 6. Q: Did you ever cry over your own writing? Laugh over it? Shiver over it? A: i laugh when i write something crazy wrong and dont notice or yeah when i wrote something funny :3 7. Q: What do you despise in stories? A: hm.. I dunno like if its just a love story then i will absolutely not read it. 8. Q: What makes a story bad (in your opinion)? A: ugh i dunno- 9. Q: Which is more important in a story: emotional depth, or an interesting plot? A: INTERESTING PLOT! :D 10. Q: Is there a specific thing your stories tend to center around? (Ex: setting, personality of character, genre, ect.) A: usually they center around my character Shadow getting hurt..? 11. Q: Do you plan to become an author someday? A: no but i'd still like to keep writing! 12. Q: If so, how do you think authors can influence the world for good by their writing? A: 13. Q: What are your favorite themes (morals or messages) in stories? A: hmm idk. i like books that people are running from people that are trying to hurt them. i dunno ok? my books are very violent. 14. Q: What are the cliches you hate the most? A: ugh i dunno- 15. Q: Is there a way to make those cliches not so bad? Do you think you could do it if you set out to try? A: i dont know these are hard now lol 16. Q: What is the genre you hate the most? A: love stories if thats a genre- 17. Q: What if you tried to write it? What would happen? A: uhh gods, i mean i HAVE. i H8TED it but my friend dared me to- it was PRETTY bad. 18. Q: What makes a character lovable? A: they own a sword- 19. Q: Is it possible for a non-lovable character to make you care deeply about them? A: mehhh MAYBE- 20. Q: How can you make your story touch your reader and impact their life? A: know your audience and what they like, what will touch them the most.
