(-)Short Description(-) -This CC is based off of the approaching Halloween! -It was believed that on that day, the souls of the dead returned to their homes, so people dressed in costumes and lit bonfires to ward off spirits. In this way, popular Halloween tropes such as witches, ghosts, and goblins became associated with the holiday. -Halloween is mostly a world-wide festival, celebrated by most people. Different people celebrate it differently. Some don’t celebrate it at all. Others decorate their hoses and yards, putting out candy and lollies for young kids to collect. -Code word is pumpkin -Trick or Treating is a common celebration, often held on the night (October 31st) in which kids will go around their living area, knocking on people’s doors and saying ‘trick or treat’. Many people would have lollies or chocolates to give the children. -Fun fact: I’ve only been trick or treating once, and that was last year!
