Lily was found abandoned in a pond by a group of wildcats. Many of them were unsure about her, for her appearances weren’t the only thing that was unusual about her. She couldn’t drown in water at all! In fact, although the cats did not know this, it was because she had gills as well as lungs. Lily came from a type of sea beast, which most had never heard of, and she was too young to remember it herself. She was taken in by an old cat named Prudent, who was regarded as the oldest, wisest cat. Despite the kind old cat taking her in and raising her, she soon began to wonder where she came from. Lily took it upon herself to travel to the ocean, and she dived underneath. Lily found she was an excellent swimmer and could easily manoeuvre in the ocean. She swam deeper and discovered ruins of an underwater village. Lily met a shark whom she managed to convince not to harm her, and the shark told her what had happened. A large group of cats exactly like her had once lived here, until something disturbed them. No creature knew what it was, except that it was a dark, dangerous force that was not to be meddled with. So, Lily set it upon herself to try and find out who did it and discover her family. To Be Continued…
